J.D. Power recognizes Kia’s Telluride and Stinger with APEAL awards.
When you’re doing good work, people tend to notice. And when the quality of your work is reflected in both market appeal and performance, chances are you’ll receive the kind of recognition that affirms your status as an industry leader.
Kia is receiving that exact kind of recognition, and it’s coming in waves.
J.D. Power has recognized what Kia drivers are experiencing every day: The brand’s excellence sets it apart – both in terms of engineering and customer satisfaction.
The latest Kia models to earn honors are the Telluride SUV and Stinger sport sedan.
Telluride was chosen as top Upper Midsize SUV segment winner in J.D. Power’s Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) awards. The bold, three-row SUV stands out with its quality, design and value. And with the latest models adding towing capability, a remote engine start button and available LED headlamps, Telluride is as functional as it is powerful.
Even more exciting things are coming in 2021, as Telluride will feature a special appearance package known as Nightfall Edition. On top of other enhancements planned for the coming model year, Telluride will continue to turn heads and excite customers, even as it impresses auto enthusiasts who keep a keen watch on the industry.
The 2020 Stinger, meanwhile, was chosen as top Midsize Premium Car in the APEAL awards. Now in its third year on the market, the Stinger introduced the GT-Line on the 2.0L. Touting a 3.3L V6 GT engine, the Stinger features a smooth and powerful ride while presenting itself in the style of a genuine Grand Touring vehicle.
The honors bestowed upon Telluride and Stinger are no surprise, given Kia’s recent no. 1 ranking in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study. It reflects Kia’s ongoing commitment to excel not only in sales, but in high-caliber, innovative engineering that continues to establish new standards of automotive excellence.
“We are honored to win not just one, but two segments in the APEAL study, which further reinforces the brand’s ‘Give It Everything’ approach to each model we build,” said Sean Yoon, president and CEO, Kia Motors America, Kia Motors North America.
It’s a winning streak built on commitment to quality, and affirmed by the positive response of Kia drivers – the most important market research anywhere. Shop both models in the Jim Ellis Kia of Kennesaw inventory.
