Kia Carnival Safety

Highway Driving Assist

The Kia Carnival MPV is equipped with an array of advanced safety features that are designed to enhance every driving experience, one of which is Highway Driving Assist. This system is standard on the LX, LXS, and EX trim levels, and it can control your vehicle’s acceleration, deceleration, and steering functions. This feature implements smart technology capable of reading the posted speed limits on roads and adjusting your vehicle’s speed to remain within a safe range and keep pace with other cars.

Using an exterior camera, the upgraded Highway Driving Assist 2 on the SX and SX Prestige also helps keep your vehicle centered in the lane and will make minor corrections via the steering wheel if needed. However, it’s important not to rely solely on this feature when driving and to always use caution.

To see how this feature works firsthand, come by to test-drive the 2025 Kia Carnival from our Kia inventory. You can also check out our Kia three-row SUV options like the Sorento or Telluride to see how they compare.

Blind-Spot and Surround View Monitor

While Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assistance comes on every trim level, the Blind-Spot View Monitor and Surround View Monitor are only equipped on the SX and SX Prestige, the two highest trims. These additional driver assistance features work together to help you get more technological eyes on the road to check for pedestrians, cyclists, other cars, and more.

The Blind-Spot View Monitor system wakes up when you activate the turn signal. It shows a live video of the MPV’s blind spot in the instrument cluster via the mirror-mounted camera. This feature is incredibly helpful for knowing when it’s safe to turn or move into another lane.

The Surround View Monitor covers more ground by offering a virtual bird’s-eye view of the Kia Carnival on the navigation system, which is especially helpful in tight spaces or crowded areas. It uses four cameras to provide real-time images, enabling optimum convenience and visibility during low-speed and parking maneuvers.

Collision-Avoidance Assist

The 2025 Kia Carnival for sale uses Collision-Avoidance Assistance in several ways. The first is Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection, which comes standard in the first three trims. It helps detect vehicles and objects on the road ahead and can apply the brakes to prevent or lessen the chances of a frontal collision. The SX trim and above enhance this feature by adding Junction Crossing, Direct Oncoming, Lane Change Oncoming, Lane Change Side, and Evasive Steering Assist Detection.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist is equipped in all trim levels and helps you safely back up. It uses radar sensors in the bumpers to scan for other vehicles, approaching cars, and motorcycles. This system can also apply the brakes to prevent a collision.

The new Kia Carnival for sale prioritizes the safety and security of all occupants and contributes to a more confident and relaxed driving experience. In addition to specs, our team at Jim Ellis Kia of Kennesaw would also be happy to talk to you about available packages and accessories, as well as warranty information when you visit.
